The images loaded on the site have either been created digitally or on film. Films and slides have been converted to electronic format by scanning in RGB or in grayscale. Most of the files are not compressed. Some images can be resized using Photoshop compression factor 8. On average the files are between 2,5 and 6,5 MB (300 Dpi, jpg format), with 2000x3000 or 2592x3872 pixel resolution, which ensures quality color or black and white prints up to 29.7 x 42cm (A3 format). Requests can be made for high definition scans of the photos, which will be supplied on CD-Rom. In this case the exact file name must be specified. Agenzia Obiettivo is entitled to request scanning and handling fees.

Captions, copyright, reprint rights and any restrictions regarding use of images can be found in the IPTC fields. For specific uses Agenzia Obiettivo can supply this information by e-mail. In this case Agenzia Obiettivo reserves the right to charge an additional fee. For details regarding service conditions and costs please contact our staff.

The best visualization is obtained by using 800x600 screen resolution and Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 browser or more recent versions with the following options set: medium font size [View/Font/Medium] and full screen [View/Full Screen or press F11].
